Welcome to How To Live In Hawaii, a guide to moving to Hawaii and living in Hawaii as a new resident.

Here you’ll find how-to’s, tips, reviews of products and services, and other resources that will ease your transition and make your new life and home in Hawaii as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

A bit about me

I first fell in love with Hawaii as a teenager, when I made my first trip to Oahu. Twenty years later, I decided to turn my dream of living in Hawaii into my reality and moved to Honolulu. I’ve been learning how to live in Hawaii ever since, and I gotta tell ya, it’s been one of the most pleasurable learning experiences of my life. (Well, except for my introduction to flying cockroaches, but more on that later!)

If you’re interested and have some time on your hands, read the long version of how I came to live in Hawaii and started this blog.
