Yesterday, I came across another good resource for finding jobs in Hawaii: Job Link Now, which is part of the “Hawaii News Now” website. Like many job listing websites, Job Link Now includes a search function that allows you to look for positions by keyword, category, or city in Hawaii.

The site also has a “Now Hiring” module — a scrolling list of featured companies that have current job openings in Hawaii. Clicking on a company name takes you to a profile page that includes the company’s description, current job openings, contact info, and links for more details. When I visited the site, some of the featured companies were:

  • Kuakini Medical Center
  • Hawthorne Cat (construction)
  • Ito En (beverage company)
  • Hale Kipa (nonprofit)
  • Hawaiian Electric Company
  • Hawaiian Airlines
  • Bank of Hawaii

Perhaps the best (and most unique) feature of Job Link Now is its archive of videos. Each 3-minute video is taken from a weekly segment on “Hawaii News Now,” during which a newscaster interviews a company representative about their current open positions, what type of job candidates they’re looking for, and how to apply. The videos are listed on the Job Link Now homepage in chronological order, starting with the most recent airing.
