Are you a woman living in Hawaii (or intending to live in Hawaii) who’s interested in hearing about Hawaii’s business trends, improving your business and negotiation skills, learning from Hawaii’s female leaders in business and civic services, and networking with other women like yourself? If so, you should consider attending Wahine Forum 2011, the leading conference of its kind in Hawaii.
Produced by the Junior League of Honolulu and Hawaii Business Magazine, the full-day conference will offer two workshop sessions on a variety of topics to choose from, according to your needs and interests. It looks like this year’s workshop choices haven’t been posted online yet, but last year’s sessions included topics such as negotiation tactics, career reinvention, breaking through the glass ceiling, succeeding in male-dominated fields, and online security. This year’s keynote speaker will be Carla Harris, a managing director at Morgan Stanley.
Wahine Forum 2011 will be held Tuesday, Oct. 18, 7:30am – 4pm at the Hawaii Convention Center in Honolulu. If you register by August 21 or are one of the first 100 seats purchased (whichever comes first), the cost is $140. If you register by Sept. 30, it’s $160. After that, it’s $175.
